I've been building and painting models since I was a kid. I started out like most kids working on cars, planes and tanks but  I later discovered a great love of science fiction and fantasy.

In 1996 I got the opportunity to turn this hobby into a profession. I got hired on as a model painter on the film Starship Troopers. I spent about 11 months painting (and sometimes building) an amazing array of science fiction craft. Although I've worked in and around a number of films and TV shows that was my only movie credit. That led to a short stint at Walt Disney Imagineering and then on to set painting.

It's the painting part that I really enjoy. So, while I do like the building process I generally look at it as a means to an end. Without the build you cannot paint.

I take painting commissions and I also occasionally sell off parts of my own collection when it begins to grow out of control. Please let me know if you would like me to paint something for you.
